Their Glowing Pumpkins

The girls couldn't have been more excited when BJ lit their pumpkins. The funny thing is we didn't have any votive candles, so he taped 3 birthday candles together in each pumpkin...hey it worked!

Carving Pumpkins

Today for FHE we finally carved our pumpkins. We all had fun, except Emma hated when we were getting the inside stuff out. She kept saying "Ew! Ew! Ew!". Funny girl!

Picking Apples

Yesterday I took the girls to pick a bushel of apples & they loved it! Madelyn was crying because she didn't want to leave. Funny how something so simple is so fun for them!

Strike a Pose!

Emma LOVES getting her picture taken & then looking at them on the camera. She kept changing her pose, it was the funniest thing!

Naughty Emma!!!

My sweet little Emma is a little bit naughty! She somehow found one of the girls' lipstick rings (I don't know who came up with these things & especially that awful purple color! I thought I'd thrown all of these horrid things away). Anyway, not only did she make a mess of her face with it, the worst was all over my bed!!!

Halloween Party

My parent's had a Halloween party because they are going to be gone on Halloween this year. Yes! I finally found costumes for our girls! Emma is a skunk, Madelyn is a flapper (she adds princess to it), & Sydnee is a cowgirl. None of it goes together, but I was so glad just to be done! Before going to their house we stopped to see Brandon's grandparents. His grandpa hasn't been doing too well lately which makes us soo sad! The girls love to see Grandma & Grandpa J!

TAGGED BY KATIE & KEELY

So I really wasn't excited about this because it is hard enough for me to remember what I did today & yesterday, let alone 10 years ago but here I go...

5 Things I was Doing 10 Years Ago:
1. I was 16 years old & grateful that I could drive so my parents couldn't forget me & leave me waiting for hours.
2. I had a boyfriend.
3. I was going to the football games & stomps. I'm not sure why I went to stomps because I'm a horrible dancer!
4. I was playing volleyball at the time.
5. Hanging out with Andrea I think the most. Man my memory is bad!

5 Thing on My To-Do List Today:
1. Figure out what my girls are going to be for Halloween. (I'm a planner, let me tell you!)
2. Clean & laundry. Like Sydnee said, I'm always cleaning.
3. Take people their Marykay stuff.
4. Make dinner for my family since I'm going to The Olive Garden for a baby shower.
5. Go to Walmart & the "cheese factory" (which is my girl's favorite place to go).

5 Things I Would Do If I Had a Million Dollars:
1. Pay off my house or possibly buy a new house.
2. Get elective surgery on my chest. I don't want big, just normal. :)
3. Go shopping.
4. Go on a trip (or a few)
5. I really don't think I would splurge, but really a million dollars isn't that much money anymore. The rest I would put in some investment. BJ would figure that out.

5 Things I Will Never Wear Again:
1. Permed hair. My hair looks HORRIBLE permed. Especially the perm I had in 6th grade. What was my mom thinking?!?
2. Overalls. Sick!
3. My wedding dress.
4. The clothes I just took to the DI.
5. Swimsuits without shorts or a skirt. I appreciate my children, but not so much the battle wounds that they inflicted!

5 Favorite Toys:
1. My Canon Rebel XT. I love it! I need to take classes though so I can do more, but I love pictures of our girls!
2. The internet so I can do some shopping not at the store!
3. The dvd player in our car. It gives me some peace & quiet at times.
4. Dishwasher
5. Washer & dryer - practical, but life would be horrible without it!

Halloween

I can't believe that it is almost Halloween! This is a picture of our girls last year (Wizard of Oz theme), but so far I haven't gotten my girls a halloween costume yet. That is not so good. Sydnee thinks she wants to be a cowgirl (I've yet to find a cute outfit for her), Madelyn wants to be a princess, & who knows what Emma wants to be. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it! There are a lot of ugly costumes everywhere & I really need to figure it out soon!

Sheep Camp

Last month the girls & I went with Brandon's family to his uncle's sheep camp. Brandon was gone to New York with a bunch of his friends, so I braved it without him. The girls had a ton of fun!

Some more pictures

Cleaning

Sydnee had a new friend over to our house that had just moved to our neighborhood. I was asking her friend questions about herself & then what her mom liked to do. After answering Sydnee said, "well my mom likes to clean all day long". I guess she has at least caught on to the fact that I have to clean all the time, but not that I really don't like to.

More on Pregnancy

So I went to my doctor's appointment today & everything looks good. I'm gaining weight like a crazy person, which is not really that much fun, but I have to keep telling myself it is for a wonderful cause. I'm also starting to feel quite a bit better at nights which is great, but now I'm starting to get my pregnancy headaches. (One good thing after another, but once again at least something amazing comes from it.) I'm so excited, though, because on Nov. 7th we get to find out what we are having. Sounds like a long time, but really it will be here before I know it. How exciting!

Sydnee & Maddie's First Day of School

I know school started a while ago, but I figured better late than never!

SYDNEE

Sydnee is our 5, soon to be 6 year old. She started Kindergarten this year & loves it! Sydnee is our social butterfly who loves people & friends. She is a lot smarter than I think she should be & thinks she is a lot older! Her favorite movie is High School Musical. She loves to sing, dance, and says she wants to be an artist when she grows up. She has been a really good girl who is a deep thinker & cares what we think. Her downfall is when she gets tired she get so whiney! This could drive me more crazy than really anything else! Besides that she is such a good, sweet girl who loves to take care of her younger sisters!

A little about MADELYN

Madelyn is now 4 years old & is our cute little chubby girl full of personality! She has a case of the middle child syndrome & definitely knows how to get your attention! She is known for her raspy voice & strong opinions & is usually the one the many people are drawn to (or away from depending on her mood).

She is going 3 days a week to the Sports Academy Preschool & loves it! She loves playing with her sisters & friends, coloring for hours, dressing up, & dancing. I don't know that this world could handle 2 Madelyns, but I am so glad that she came to our family! I love this girl & have learned a lot from her, especially patience! But the world is definitely a more colorful place because of her!

SILLY EMMA!

Emma is such a silly girl! She LOVES getting her picture taken & then has to look at herself on the camera! She is our very sweet little girl! She has been super good since she was a baby & really hasn't gotten into the terrible two's. I actually don't think that she will ever get too crazy. She is so much fun & so sweet! I was watching Oprah the other day & was crying (typical). She saw me & started crying, then came & snuggled with me. That is our sweet little Emma!

Pregnancy

Well, for all of you who don't know, our family is expecting another baby. I'm not due until April 1st (although I'll be induced a week early) so the end of March. I can't believe this will be #4. CRAZY! We are actually really excited though. This pregnancy has been kind of brutal for me. The mornings are just great, but the later the day goes on the yuckier I get! I really shouldn't complain though because LOTS of my friends have it much worse. It's just not fun feeling sick for so long! I'm hoping that it will go away soon. Besides feeling yucky & getting fat, I'm getting lovely acne. The other day Sydnee said "Mommy, you have a lot of zits on your face! You have one right here, one right here, two close together right there, ... there is this coverup called pronative & if you put it on your zits, they will go away." So basically my 5 year old is telling me that I need to go on Proactive. That's when you know you have a problem! You have to love the honesty in kids!

Life is really good for us! We are incredibly blessed. Even in the craziness of my life with our drama girls, I wouldn't change a thing! I love my life!
