PRAYER
I was talking to our girls the other night about prayer & how Heavenly Father always listens to us. Sydnee was deep in thought & then finally asked, "Mom, does Heavenly Father grant wishes?" I told her that in a way He does because if we ask Him for something & He thinks that it is something that we need He will give it to us. She then preceded to tell me that there is a boy at school that she thinks is kind of cute & so she said a prayer that he would like her and play with her. Then she said "it hasn't worked". I thought it was a very cute & a little scary that boys are starting to be "kind of cute" to her.

Oh no, boys already?! I have noticed Sammy being kind of flirty with some boys in our carpool....I know just how your feeling!
TROUBLE!!! Isn't it frightening to see the interest in boys starting already. Yikes!

Sometimes I think it's hard to teach kids about how Heavenly Father doesn't always give us what we ask for, even if it seems like a good thing to us. Noah prays every night not to have bad dreams, and when he does have a nightmare he always asks, "Why didn't Heavenly Father help me have good dreams?" Aghhh! Of course, we say a prayer and sing a primary song, and he goes back to sleep, but I don't feel like I always have the best answers.
I to have noticed sammie mention boys as well they are starting off younger than I remember noticing boys.Saige mentioned she thought jake smith looked handsome at church on Sunday and she is only 3 scary huh!!!
How funny! Its always surprising what kids say. Think of all of the cute prayer that have been said over the years. You have such a sweet little family. I can't even imagine four girls, how fun. If you think that you have boy problems now, just wait until all four are in jr high and high school. It was fun seeing you!
That's so funny. Sydnee is so sweet and cute! That has probably got to be weird that she is starting to like boys. haha.
